Recognizing that women often bear the brunt of environmental degradation and climate change caused by mining, the project “Building Women’s Voices for Environmental Justice” was implemented by RACE Africa in Nasarawa State. The project aimed to amplify women’s voices of 50 in environmental discussions and empower them to advocate for their rights and the health of their communities.
